How to use

How do you use Cair Universal Shampoo?
Detangle your hair, then brush it thoroughly to prepare it for the treatment.
Wet your hair generously with lukewarm water: the more thoroughly it is soaked, the better the formula works.
Put a small amount of shampoo in your palm and gently work it into a lather. Massage rather than rub (yes, we mean it): start at the sides, then move to the back and top of your scalp.
Add a little water if needed to build a generous lather.
Rinse thoroughly with clear water under a fairly strong stream. Your hair may feel a little more ‘squeaky’ towards the end of the rinse — and that is a good sign: it means it is truly clean, with no residue.
To complete your routine, we recommend applying the Cair detangling hair mist afterwards.
Designed as the perfect partner to the shampoo, it replaces traditional conditioners: a leave-in detangling treatment that leaves your hair light, naturally coated and easy to style.

40% synergy of active waters: rice water, organic grape water, bamboo water, fermented raspberry water. They hydrate*, soothe, nourish and restore strength and vitality to the hair. Amino acids: bring lightness and shine. Hyaluronic acid: locks water into the heart of the fibre and limits dehydration. Plant proteins: keratin alternatives that penetrate at micro-depth to reduce damage caused by external aggressors and strengthen the fibre over time.

The key role of pH
Hair has a natural pH of around 5 to 5.5. The drier and more damaged it becomes, the more negatively charged it is — and the more alkaline it gets. Conversely, hair with a positive charge is more acidic: it appears shinier, with cuticles lying flat and aligned. This is where our treatments come into play: Our shampoo has a pH of 4.5 (slightly acidic). It helps bring the hair back towards a balanced pH, promoting shine and softness. Our mask, with a pH of 6.5 (slightly alkaline), gently lifts the cuticles so active ingredients can penetrate the cortex more effectively and work deep within the fibre. *Hydration of the upper layers of the hair fibre.

"Have two of the hairbrushes so thought I would try the haircare products too and I have to say they are amazing! "Üblicherweise musste ich meine Haare jeden Tag waschen weil sie so schnell gefettet haben. Zudem musste immer ein Conditioner drauf sonst war Kämmen kaum möglich. Mit dem Shampoo von La bonne Brosse sind die Haare auch ohne Spülung ganz weich und angenehm zu stylen. Die Bürste trägt entsprechend dazu bei, sanft beim Entwirren und wirklich effektiv bei der Pflege des trockenen Haares. Ich mag beides nicht mehr missen!"
