Body Brushes

La Bonne Brosse Body Brushes

Rediscover dry brushing, an ancestral ritual that cares for the skin while providing a pleasant feeling of lightness. Used for just a few minutes a day, the body brush exfoliates the skin, stimulates microcirculation and supports lymphatic drainage.

Through its mechanical action, body brushing helps remove dead skin cells, refine skin texture and stimulate the tissues. With regular use, the skin appears smoother, more supple, more toned and more radiant.

The benefits of dry brushing

Practised regularly for 3 to 5 minutes, dry brushing makes it easy to incorporate an effective massage into your daily routine. When performed gently, brushing movements help to:

  • exfoliate the skin and remove dead skin cells;
  • stimulate microcirculation;
  • support lymphatic drainage;
  • reduce feelings of swelling and heavy legs;
  • improve the appearance of water-retention and fatty cellulite;
  • smooth the skin and help maintain its suppleness.

Which body brush should you choose?

La Bonne Brosse offers two body brushes, designed to provide a massage intensity suited to each skin type.

Body Brush N.01: sensitive to normal skin

Body Brush N.01 is recommended for thin, delicate skin or skin that is easily prone to redness. It is also suitable for those discovering body brushing or looking for gentle exfoliation.

Its nylon fibres gently remove dead skin cells while respecting sensitive skin. Its copper fibres, known for their ionic properties, support skin renewal and help protect the skin from the effects of free radicals.

It is ideal for restoring a feeling of lightness, stimulating circulation and leaving the skin softer without being harsh.

Body Brush N.02: normal to thicker skin

Body Brush N.02 is designed for skin that tolerates exfoliation well and is looking for a more invigorating massage. It is particularly suitable for areas with roughness or an orange-peel appearance, especially the legs, thighs, arms and buttocks.

Its boar bristles, naturally rich in keratin, exfoliate precisely, refine skin texture and reveal smoother, more supple skin. Its medical-grade silicone tips provide targeted stimulation and massage the tissues deeply to help improve the appearance of water-retention and fatty cellulite.

How to practise dry brushing

Use your body brush on dry skin, ideally in the morning before showering. Begin by applying light pressure to the armpits, groin, stomach, knees and ankles to stimulate the main lymphatic areas.

Then gently brush the body from bottom to top, without pressing too hard. Start at the feet and hands, then work your way towards the heart. On the calves, thighs, buttocks and stomach, use small circular movements. After brushing, take a shower and apply a moisturising treatment to prolong the benefits of this ritual.

How to care for your body brush

After each use, gently tap the brush against a flat, hard surface to remove dead skin cells and accumulated dust.

To preserve its fibres, do not clean it with water and store it in a dry place.

Just a few minutes a day are enough to transform body brushing into a true skincare ritual and reveal visibly smoother, softer and more radiant skin.
