Because a high-quality hair brush made with boar bristles or nylon truly makes a difference, La Bonne Brosse offers unique hair essentials designed to enhance every hair type.

How to choose the right hair brush?

Each hair brush meets a specific need, depending on hair type and scalp sensitivity.

Boar bristle hair brush

Boar bristles smooth the hair fiber, stimulate blood circulation and add shine by distributing natural oils from roots to ends.

Boar bristle and nylon hair brush

Nylon and boar bristle hair brushes are ideal for combining the detangling and massaging action of nylon pins with the smoothing and moisturizing benefits of boar bristles.

Blow-dry brush

La Bonne Brosse blow-dry brush is available in two different diameters, making it suitable for all hair types and blow-dry styles.

Vegan hair brush

Vegan nylon fibers provide gentle detangling, respecting even the most sensitive scalps without compromising styling performance.

More structuring versions help tame textured, thick or curly hair.

Wide-tooth comb and scalp care

Thanks to its widely spaced teeth, the wide-tooth comb detangles without breaking or pulling, even on wet or very fine hair.

It also makes it easier to apply hair treatments while gently and precisely stimulating the scalp.

Why choose your hair brush or comb from La Bonne Brosse?

All La Bonne Brosse luxury hair brushes and accessories are Made in France, handcrafted from cellulose acetate — a noble, durable material that is gentle on the hair.

Whether it is a boar bristle hair brush, a nylon fiber brush or a detangling comb, all our products embody the perfect balance between performance, elegance and sensoriality — a daily ritual in service of your hair’s natural beauty.

Choosing the right brush depends first and foremost on your hair type, its density, and your scalp's sensitivity—along with your specific needs, whether detangling, styling, or shine.

Boar bristle brushes are particularly prized for their smoothing, shine-enhancing effect, ideal for elevating your hair day after day. They smooth the hair fiber, add shine, and naturally distribute sebum from roots to ends, leaving hair softer and better protected. They are especially well suited to fine and normal hair, as well as to sensitive scalps.

For thicker or longer hair, or hair prone to tangling, our nylon and boar bristle hair brush models offer deeper detangling while gently massaging the scalp.

Nylon bristle brushes, on the other hand, are particularly suited to very thick, curly, or hard-to-detangle hair. They make detangling effortless—even on wet hair—and help work through the lengths without causing breakage. They are ideal for everyday use when detangling is the priority.

Take our hair diagnosis in just a few clicks to identify the brush best suited to your hair type and scalp.

Properly caring for your hair brush is essential to preserving its effectiveness and bringing out the beauty of your hair. Start by regularly removing the hair and dust that accumulate between the bristles, using the cleaning brush specifically designed to reach hard-to-access areas. Once a month, you can carry out a more thorough cleaning: gently run a slightly damp cloth between the bristles to remove residue and impurities, while respecting the structure of your hair brush made in France.

The choice between a brush and a comb depends first and foremost on your hair type and when you use them. These two tools are complementary and address different needs.

The wide-tooth comb is, above all, a detangling tool. Recommended for detangling wet hair, it is particularly well suited to very thick, curly, or textured hair, as it separates the strands without breaking the hair fiber. The hair brush, on the other hand, acts more like a treatment. Used on dry hair to enhance the fiber, the 100% boar bristle brush, for instance, delivers a smoothing, shine-enhancing effect, ideal for straight hair.
Nylon and boar bristle hair brushes, meanwhile, suit most hair types and allow for deeper detangling while taming the lengths.
