Pink October: La Bonne Brosse Renews Its Commitment Alongside the CEW Beauty Centres

Octobre Rose : La Bonne Brosse renouvelle son engagement aux côtés des Centres de Beauté du CEW

At La Bonne Brosse, we believe that self-care can play an essential role when illness disrupts everyday life, the body and self-image.

For Pink October, we are renewing our commitment for the third consecutive year alongside the CEW Beauty Centres, which offer free socio-aesthetic and haircare treatments to people affected by illness.

A commitment that extends beyond October and reflects a strong belief: women’s health, wellbeing and support deserve constant attention.

Self-care during illness

Founded in 1992, the CEW Beauty Centres developed the first free, individual socio-aesthetic care programme for hospital patients.

Within partner establishments, specially trained socio-aestheticians and haircare practitioners offer moments of care, listening and wellbeing. Care for the skin, face, hands or hair: these gestures help support people through the physical and psychological effects of illness and treatment.

When the body changes, reconnecting with familiar gestures and caring for your appearance can also help you reclaim your self-image and rebuild confidence. Because at such times, beauty is not superficial when it helps you live better.

Today, the CEW Beauty Centres operate in 43 establishments: in hospitals, as well as in women’s centres, perinatal care facilities and with dependent older people. In 2024, nearly 28,000 patients benefited from around 42,000 socio-aesthetic and haircare treatments.

La Bonne Brosse wears Bubble Gum Pink for Pink October

Once again this year, La Bonne Brosse is choosing to put its voice, products and community at the service of this cause.

For Pink October, our iconic boar bristle hairbrush is revealed in Bubble Gum Pink, an intense, luminous shade created to embody this commitment. Every La Bonne Brosse Pink October brush purchased contributes directly to funding the treatments offered by the CEW Beauty Centres.

Through this edition, we wish to make a tangible contribution to an initiative that places care and wellbeing at the heart of supporting people affected by illness.

A lasting commitment

Since the start of our commitment alongside the CEW Beauty Centres, €40,000 has already been donated to support their work.

Behind this amount are treatments, moments of listening and time devoted to those whose daily lives are disrupted by illness.

For this third year, we want to continue growing this collective effort alongside our community and, in our own way, help make these treatments accessible to more people.

Because self-care should never be considered secondary. And because beauty takes on its full meaning when it helps restore confidence, strength and wellbeing.
