Purify greasy hair by brushing it

Cuir chevelu et cheveux Gras

Simultaneously shiny with a damp appearance at the roots and dull lengths, greasy hair weighs down the hair and is often associated with a lack of hygiene.

This leads to repetitive shampooing accompanied by other miracle formulas to clean and degrease the hair. But instead of solving the problem, the irritating active ingredients in these cosmetic products accentuate greasy hair by further disrupting the hormonal regulation of our scalp.

Seborrhea: the origin of greasy hair

Greasy hair is the result of excess sebum, called seborrhea. Produced by the sebaceous glands, sebum plays a key role in balancing the scalp and hair. In fact, its physiological properties moisturize the hair, protecting it from drying out and giving it shine and flexibility.

However, hereditary factors or external aggressions (excessive washing, hot water, etc.), can deregulate the sebaceous glands. Like the skin, when the scalp is attacked, it produces sebum to rebuild its protective barrier: the hydrolipidic film.

However, when produced in excessive quantities, the sebum secreted clogs the hair bulbs and suffocates the roots. The hair can no longer absorb the excess sebum, which leads to greasy, shiny hair throughout.

Brushing: the natural solution to greasy hair

For greasy hair, the natural boar bristle hair brush, or the mixed model (half nylon, half boar bristle) for thick and curly hair, are the perfect answer.

These two hair brushes possess purifying and astringent actions that help to normalize and regulate sebum production.

Rich in keratin, the boar bristles distribute the sebum contained in the hair bulb evenly over the entire length of the hair, eliminating the unpleasant appearance of greasy, shiny roots in just a few weeks!

Thanks to their soft bristles, the boar and mixed hair brushes detoxify the scalp by ridding it of all irritating impurities.

La Bonne Brosse's tips: to prevent the heavy and oily effect of greasy hair, brush your hair morning and night for lighter hair!

Also, to complement the benefits of brushing greasy hair, do not hesitate to supplement your diet with healthy foods and consider a sebum treatment during your vacation.
